Does anyone know the date of this? In 2007 it was about August 11th. Also, what's the selection process?

Selections are made by PG subject to AFLAC's approval. Follow PG's 2009 class rankings and you'll get an idea of who's in line to go. Some players have already been told they're in, though they are typically sworn to secrecy until AFLAC makes it public in May or even June. The last selections are done after PG National and in a couple of cases maybe even later.
PG's web site doesn't have a date showing yet. It may not even be 100% confirmed yet, but if not it's probably close. Last I heard from PGStaff, they had some high hopes for the location this year but I won't steal his thunder on that!
If you think your son has a shot, try PM'ing PGStaff for more info. He will respond to you directly.
Also, if you need details, PM me. I can also ID for you some other posters with experience with this outstanding event.
In the meantime, keep your calendar clear, because you should not miss this event for anything!

I heard 2008 version of this may be moved to Atlanta. Their web site still only lists 2007 info. Does anyone know the date and location of the game this year?
