I'll never pay for one of these prospect camps from this outfit again. The guy throwing BP couldn't even get the ball over the plate in two rounds of BP if it even made it there. Then the majority of the time on both days coaches just stood around talking to each other. Unless you were pitching you didn't even get a glance.

Then all he got back as far as feedback were a bunch of numbers with no explanation of what they meant. No hello, how are you, nothing. Just numbers.

Never again.

If you're not practicing there is always someone else who is and when you meet he or she will beat you.

Yep. He's had more since that one. And yes, they were much, much better.

To be fair though, I've thrown BP for years myself. And to entire teams...for years. So I know that after a while that the old arm starts to hurt a bit and sometimes you just cannot get it where you want. It happens. Of course, I wasn't charging them a few hundred a piece either.

The thing with the coaches? Well. It is what it is.

That just happened to be his first one...which was a test run anyhow.

Yes, it was well organized. And in retrospect I suppose it was worth the price relevant to transitioning to others. As well, many of the coaches who attend/organize these actually know what they're looking for anyhow. So perhaps I over emphasized.

Moving forward..
