All I can say is Wow!  How do you stop a 400 lb running back??????

And I thought the team our local HS played Friday night in the first round of the playoffs were big (lineman averaged about 275+ lbs).......

He can't run with one leg if you constantly target taking out a leg.

He would be better suited as a guard or tackle paving the way for someone 10 times as fast.

He's a RB (some of the time, he plays OL too according to the article) becuase he's from a small school in a small league, which means there's fewer chances for other teams to have the size kids needed to make this untenable.  If/when he goes to college, he's pretty obviously going to end up on the line.

It's not that different from small classification HS baseball.  I'm sure you get guys playing positions they'd never sniff at a big school because the talent pool is so much smaller (and outsize talents stand out more from that pool).  Specialization is more likely to occur the greater the size of the overall talent pool you have to choose from.

No offense but you'll get kids hurt using that philosophy.  In order to target that leg they are going to have to put their head down there and with him pumping his knees it could lead to a concussion very easily.  The best tackling strategy is to fit up and hold on until help arrives.  You don't bring someone like that down by yourself.

All that being said he's going to have his hand on the ground at the next level if he ends up there.  With so many schools trying to implement the spread and use quick athletes he's a fish out of water.

You just have to figure out his weakness.

Is it for Snickers bars?  Or is he more of a biscuits and gravy kind of guy?

ROFLMAO!  That's great!  For me, it would be snickers. LOL!

This reminds me of the team from the mountains my HS team played in the playoffs way back when. Fullback weighed 360 lbs.  The key to stopping him was to get to him before he got up to full speed.  It still took two or three of us to bring him down.  That team ran a wishbone offense.  We kept him pretty well contained.  The back that killed us was a 150 lb light weight that was quick around the end. He was almost impossible to contain - we eventually figure him out, but by that time they had a 14 point lead.  We ended up losing by 8 points.
