Is there anyone out there that has taken AP exam credits?

Check the Clearinghouse site for the classes accepted and be aware that the number of credits required will be increasing again.

Thanks TRhits. My son has already cleared the clearinghouse. These are college credits that he earned by taking advanced placement tests his senior year. I think I finally found the rule in the NCAA guide. But I think you need a legal degree to understand what it means!

My son starts his freshman year in a couple of weeks, with 23 credit hours already in the bank. Like yours, he did a lot of AP time in high school. ...picked up a few more hours this summer. ...no penalty or problem there with the NCAA. Academic success will not be penalized. There are still four years of eligibility, so long as minimal academic requirements are met.

As I see it, having the extra hours eases the pressures of adjusting to college curriculla and practices, and enables the student to take a minimal load during baseball season.

I think my son's plan is to accumulate enough hours that he could graduate after three years and either move on, or stick around for his 'senior' year taking grad level courses.
