Anybody else overdosed on football?

Not me... I'm just getting started from the beginning!

Tried to get into the Miami-Raven game but have resorted to "In the Heat of the Night" reruns on WGN, while I dismantle my Christmas decorations.
I have no dog in any hunt until FLorida plays Oklahoma. SOn is halfway back to Myrtle Beach and the silence around here is deafening. Can't even watch the new MLB channel-don't want to watch my Rays get beat again.

On the other hand I can't get enough of my Phillies winning it all so I bought the DVD of Game 5 (Both Nights)and am gonna watch it again right after my Eagles get done with the Vikes!

The BCS Title Game can mean only ONE THING...

The Patriots missed the playoffs... So except for maybe the Superbowl and the AFC championship I have no intention of watching any more football. (BC already played there bowl game as well.)

P.S. What channel would MLB network be on Comcast?

Had a relaxing weekend waiting for the Giants opponent. By the looks of the NFC wildcard weekend, nobody looks to give the Giants a game and the Panthers, the only threat to the Giants gave them all they could handle but fell short. Things looking up for Giants and should win this weekend by double digits

RJM, that post about the Bowls and Big Ten teams reminds me of something I read in Lou Holtz's book one time...

He said he had a waiter come up and ask him at a restaurant what the difference was between cereal and Notre Dame? One was in a bowl and the other was not!

Book said he responded with this: "What's the difference between Lou Holtz and a golf pro?... The golf pro gives tips!"
