Expect not to see too much of your kid.  They have a special lounge for players only with video games and snacks at the field where the players hang out with their teammates between games.  Although the pitchers don't take BP they are generally still expected to be with the team during all scheduled activities and practices, of which there are many.  Your son will receive a ton of free gear and clothes. There will be a large number of pro scouts, college coaches, and advisors/agents in attendance.  Most likely your son will be handed one or more questionnaires from MLB teams during the event. Take advantage of all the event has to offer outside of the games - MLB talk, home run derby, time with children from Jesse Rees Foundation, etc.  You will have a wonderful time!
