From their website:
"The Area Code Baseball Tryouts: A player must be invited to a tryout. An invitation to a tryout is based on recommendations from scouts in the Area Code network. A player must fill out an Area Code Player Profile form found on the StudentSportsBaseball.com site. From there the profile gets sent to our office and is then forwarded to the regional director, who then makes his recommendations on whether a player is to be invited to a tryout. Once a player fills out a form, he will not be notified unless he is invited to a tryout, which will happen close to the date of a tryout. In addition, the player's profile will be inputted into a database accessed by Student Sports and Area Code staff so that players can be notified on any Area Code updates, contacted for any content information on StudentSportsBaseball.com and sent any invitations to area events."

Incidentally... all of this information and more about this and other showcases can be found by clicking on the "Showcases" tab on a familiar website --- that's right, the High School Baseball Web!

(Thank God for Bob H! and MNMOM for keeping it going!)
