OK, so I take pretty good care of my arm, I'm a position player.

Recently when I was doing a workout, as soon as I started lifting with my arms (as opposed to legs Smile) it hurt my throwing arm. My arm usually doesn't hurt, although I think recently I had a dead arm with a loss of velocity, but nothing rest couldn't cure, says trainers.

What do you do when your arm hurts when you lift? Should you not work out arms at all? Swim?

Thanks.

Disclaimer: I am not an athletic trainer or strength coach.

You might try going down in weight until it doesn't hurt. If that doesn't work try doing lifts that are not arm specific and just use band work for you arm.

And consult a trainer or even a docc to make sure nothing is seriously wrong.

What lifts hurt and where and how old are you?
