As some of our seasons wind down(freshman)

My year was ok started off great I was hitting bombs left and right, tryouts was nothing. Kept hitting for the first 3 games. Then hit a major slump have gone 10/37 since. I think it is a good thing the slump happened to me because know my swing is starting to become better than ever and able to let me produce to my potential. We have 2 more games to go, but finshing 3rd in a very though league that is loaded with great players is a good thing considering my coaches (first year guys knew a lot about bb but didnt know how to handle a immature team). I can't wait to summer and fall to impress the varsity coach that I should be deserving of a chance to start next year.

I know what you mean about slumps.I hit fine my first 4 games,then went 4-27.I finished very strong though and I hit .306 with JV.

Ya with my last two games hopefully i can get over 300 and in summer I want to hit 400 but lets see how all that works out lol.

We still have to the end of May.

Our summer season starts in about 3 weeks so Im ready for that.My first actual regularity with the varsity so Im pumped

ugh, we have a 21 game schedule for jv. i made it 17 games w/out striking out. then it happened. the sucky part was was that we were losing 3-0 (#1 ranked jv team in the state, nonetheless) the bases were loaded with two outs and i did it looking. owell, such is baseball. we did pretty good though, but it sucks that our varsity and jv play at the same time (WIAA rule) so our var coach cant watch us and we cant watch the varsity. and we will end about 15-6, 14-7 so not too bad. we had/have a lot of fun too

Our season has been far better than I expected. My only disappiontments so far have been my slump that I'm struggling with but am finally coming out of, and the fact that we lost to one of the teams in our conference. Good thing is we got them another time and hopefully we'll beat them. Otherwise freshmen year is way more than I expected..glad I could be apart of it.

My season has gone well for me, but not my team. We are currently 7-15-1(got too dark to play) with 2 games left, but i am batting 375 and i am 3-1 on the mound with an under 2 ERA and i am the everyday shortstop on the JV team

My jv season has went fairly well on the mound this year going 2-0 with 5 saves. averaging a strikout an inning but also averaging almost a walk an inning which hurts. We went a solid 16-2 this year
