A catcher, 2B and LF now that sounds like the type recruit college coaches will be recruiting more of multi-functional players. I know my son fits that description and Craig Biggio was 5'8 175 not 5'11 one of the true gentlemen of baseball. Well done and hopefully he gets to Cooperstown someday.

One of the good guys. No matter what his profession he would been sucessful. I met him a few years ago at a local baseball sporting goods store. He was buying a Casey Pro for his kids. A real class act. In conversation he appreciated his sucess and indicated you had to have a little luck along the way ( regarding injuries ). I asked him if he had ever pitched. His answer was "no" but he always had fun. By the way no tape measure at the time but I'd say 5'10".
