I agree.
And I also think that there are nut cases sprinkled all over every region of our great country. No single region has a lock on them.
I don't know how long it will take for this particular herbicide to breakdown and become inert, but when it does the Auburn community should replant trees in the same spot as where the trees were lost.
Another chapter in the story will have been established for future generations. The spirit will survive and flourish.

And regarding the ignorant statement made above...it's just that. Ignorant. What to do? Ignore it. That is all that it deserves.
