What teams, leagues, or organizations are out there for the summer between high school & college?
Someone told me they knew someone who went to Jayhawk League, but I thought that was college only.

baseballmom, In my area, there are some teams specifically for 18 year olds. I think most larger cities have at least one. Have you asked around - scouts in your area, hitting facilities, etc. Depending on where you live in TX, your son might have to travel to a larger area.

You probably know this by now, but in DFW it is Connie Mack for most graduated HS seniors. You'll find some playing in DABA. Your son's current Connie Mack will work hard to retain him next summer.

Thanks dbg_ & lafmom....I was actually asking for one of his teammates parents', who had posed the question of what is there??? They haven't played select, so it will be tough...Told them about DABA, but I'm not too familiar with the organization, nor did I recognize the names on some of the rosters.
Told them to check with some of the BBI teams, etc, but it's a little late in the game, I'm afraid.
I just didn't think a kid could go to Jayhawk or other college league without having been in college.
