Projected field of 64 after the first weekend in  college baseball is just absurd!

Agreed TPM.  From the text it appears they intend to update it each week throughout the season so I suppose as long as no one takes it too seriously there's no harm done and it could be fun to follow and speculate.

for many teams including my son's team, everything is irrelevant until league tournament time. Win it and you are in, lose and you aren't. 2 years ago son's team (he was HS senior that year) went 25-4  in regular season winning it by at 9 games. Lost in tournament to the 6th place (out of 6) team and did not go to tournament. That is probably true of 20 leagues. So everything up until then for those leagues is just practice games

I'm a huge fan of SWAGs (scientific wild a$$ guesses) and selling annual subscriptions to Baseball America for $66!  There is no chance it is about the subscription and not the baseball.  

Vegas, here I come to place those big bets on Navy, Bryant (alma mater) and Penn.  I'm doubling down, baby!

I was surprised to see a few teams projected, now I'm curious about what changes that particular team made in the off season (recruiting, coaching etc).  Curious on how some of teams fare throughout the season. 

Coaches work so hard to try to get their teams to buy in to their philosophy and avoid distractions along the way.

FIW, first year he was at Clemson, they weren't predicted to do much. They were one game away from Omaha.
