That's a great list HD. So far I've only read one of them (Moneyball), but now I have an idea how to spend the cold weather off-season! Any time spent reading a good baseball book is time well-spent.
I don't read nearly as much as I once did (at least not hard pages, book with covers, etc.) but given my intense feelings about umpriring traditions, I've got to get "As They See ’Em ".
feeding the monster, great book about the red sox. it starts a little slow, but gets into how they sold the team and the behind the scenes negotiating. great read.
