What are some of the best memories/activities/experiences that you or your children have had at baseball camp? My son is hosting a baseball camp with one of his former high school teammates for local youths and they want to help the players develop their fundamental skills, but they want to make sure the campers have a lot of fun practicing and playing baseball. Any suggestions, tips, ideas would be greatly appreciated! Also include any negative experiences and tell us what NOT to do if you want - thanks very much. Look forward to the feedback!.

Slip and slide the last day to work on sliding techniques. Kids and parents will leave with huge smiles.
Whatever you do make it a "game" and a competition. Kids love this.
HR Derby! Wiffle Ball!
And play a 3 inning game where RH hitters bat left and LH hitters bat right.
Hope they do well.
Kids always loved running the base relay race. We usually only had 12-14 players. ½ of the team starts at 2nd base, the other half starts at home plate, a ball is your baton. Each kid has to do one lap, handing the ball off to next player. They will be begging to “do it again”. After each race the other team would start at 2nd base. Make sure you make the kids hand the ball off, somehow the trailing team figures they can catch up by tossing the ball to the next player.
With a camp, set up a double elimination tourney with brackets.
