I'm always a little hesitant to post whenever I release a new product, but I've got a new book all about nutrition for baseball players. Here is the Link:

Big League Nutrition

It's got a lot of good information and should be very helpful for baseball players at all levels. Check it out!

Before I get flamed for posting about a product and telling me to "buy advertising", please know that I'm a regular poster and people on this board are usually interested in the products that I put out.

I mainly post in the Catching and General Discussion forums, but will occasionally chime in on threads in Recruiting, Strength and Conditioning, and Hitting. I would post more, but I'm limited by NCAA rules about topics that I can respond to.

Thanks!

Since I haven't read your book, I can't discern whether your book answers the following but maybe this can bring about some stimulating discussion that can lead people to want to buy your book!

-Do you think that baseball has specific nutrition requirements in comparison to other sports?  Different than an average weight lifter?  My sense is no -- baseball would actually be one of the easiest sports to eat for since you don't have to deal with glycogen depletion and things like that in any normal baseball game...I'd be curious if the catcher is an exception to that, though.  With that said, that doesn't mean that baseball players need not pay attention to their diet!  Some factors like timing and carb intake just don't matter so much.
