Baseball Tournaments at Trant Field

Lynnhaven Baseball will begin a run of Baseball Tournaments at Trant Field starting Sunday, 11 July 2010.

There will be a 4 Team Palomino Sectional Tournament starting Sunday at 11am and 1:30pm.

Cox
Kempsville Blue
Indian River
Lakeland

Followed by the American Legion Senior District Tournament starting on Saturday, 17 July through 20 July with the winner advancing to the State Tournament.

Lynnhaven Baseball will host the Palomino Regional Tournament starting 22 July with games at 5:30pm (Greensboro vs TBD) and 8pm (Lynnhaven vs TBD) with the winner advancing to the Palomino East Zone in Pittsburgh, PA.

Some of the best amateur baseball in the area is played at Trant Field in the summer.

The American Legion District 2 tournament starts Saturday July 17th. Games are at 3:30 and 7:00. Two games will be played again on Sunday. The tournament will continue through Wednesday July 21st.

Lynnhaven's Palomino tournament the following Thursday will also showcase some great HS baseball players headed to the next level as well some outstanding college underclassmen.
