I have a 2014 easton xl1 best bat I have ever had. it had great pop and felt good till about 2 weeks ago. Now it has a different sound and has a different feel without the same pop. Is it dead?

And if it is dead it has Been under a year could i send it back?
Easton has been very good about returns in my dealings with them. check out the web site, it is a pretty simple process.
Composite bats don't always break on the outside. They often break internally thus making it dead. You can always try to send it back. If it hasn't been tampered with, the worst that they can say is no on a return.
Freddy... to an extent you're right, but they can actually break internally not just break in.

Yeah, I thought about it some more, and deleted my post!
I have seen a lot of them break this year and not have any pop. I know we are going back to our 5150 3 year strong
