Batted Ball Hits the Runner

Runner on first and hit / run is on. Runner never checks in and ball hits him in foot as it's going to be fielded by the 2Bman. How do you mark this in the book? Does anyone get credit for the out?

Some people were saying that the pitcher is credited for the out and I was thinking you just note it in the scorebook and nobody gets the out.

2B gets out, batter gets credit for a hit. Ball is dead at contact.
