Best High School Field/Facility in NT or DFW

What’s your opinion on where the best High School baseball field/facility is in the North Texas area?

There are a lot of factors to consider. Like best maintained field, best sight lines, convenience, concessions and music/sound effects.

One field I really enjoy is Trinity Christian Addison. They have a great facility with stadium type stands, which offer great sight lines, and the covered stands make it even better.

One thing that really bothers me is the built up lip that borders the infield dirt from the outfield grass. I have seen this problem on several fields this year.

Just wish the TCA field had real restrooms close by,
the blue porta-potties are not up to standard with the the rest of the facility. Wink

Allen - good playing surface.

Marcus - get some rye seed for outfield would you? Short porch. Nice setting though.

I enjoyed Canton HS field and setting this week.

Gates Field ~ Sandy, Utah.

Ken is right, there is not a better HS field in the country.


We are playing in the Gates Field World Series this summer. I have heard from a former MLB player that it is one of the finest fields he has seen.

I like Gabe Nesbitt Field at the TBACR in McKinney. Tim Butz does a great job with that facility. If they didnt play so many games on "The Gabe", the surface would be top notch.

I also like McKinney Boyd, Al Alford, Reverchon Park in downtown Dallas and the new and improved Parish Episcopal School ballpark.

TCA lost its luster with me, with the retirement of Coach Sharp...still a nice place to play ball.
