As high school tryouts begin next week just wanted to say best of luck to all the illinois high school players that are here and good luck to all the teams as the season approaches!

High School baseball may have dodged a bullet today for opening day for many schools. If we were to get up to 10-12 inches of snow as originally predicted --- very unlikely the opening games would have been played. Hopefully we don't get a lot of snow today and the 40 degree weather expected this weekend can melt/dry-up the fields so we can start the season. Last March, we were toying with 80 degree days. Play Ball!
