Yes, they are getting a new scoreboard today so we have flip flopped our schedule to our field 1st and at theirs 2nd round.

Well as a matter of fact Blake had the game of his life so far by pitching a "Perfect Game" he pitched the entire 7 innings and had 18 strike outs (14 in a row) and 3 ground outs with 81 pitches.
Wow, it was quite a game. We parents just can't even describe the excitement sometimes!!!!
Wow, congratulations to Blake! What a thrilling start to his HS senior season. I hope he is having fun and not feeling pressured. Obviously if he does feel any pressure, he is handling it very, very well!

I saw it live, and it was very impressive! Its been a long time since I have witnessed a high school pitcher absolutly mismatch the opposition the way Blake did.

I'm a Alum of good ole IHS and played with and against Blake's Dad Bill since junior high.
Blake's Dad was a heck of a Basketball player in HS. Played varsity as a Freshman at a time when that was very rare.

Deemax - Last year, I witnessed Kershaw throw 5 with 15 K's. Unfortunately, they didn't need 7 innings for the win.
Did anyone see a radar gun reading on BB at the game?

I watched the guns for the first two innings and didnt see a fastball below 92, while touching 95. His slider was 83-85 with explosive late break. I only noticed his change in warmups, but it had the makings of a good pitch as well. He kind of reminds me of Ben Diggins, similiar build and stuff.
I hope to see him throw again.

What an incredible outing. Is there any doubt this kid will be a 1st round pick? I don't think so!
