My Son who is a high school senior, recieved an invite letter for the Blue Grey Classic. Is this worht the money and drive to another state? Is this legit or a scam for money? Will this help my son? He recieved the invite at school it did not come to him at home so I am interested to know if anyone has had this experience and if they were happy with it?

My son received one when we were going through the process. We were told one of the attending teams wanted him to see him.
This event conflicted with another event that he wanted to attend so he passed. One of his friends also received an invite but while my sons was from Ohio indiana area his friend was invited to one in New England.
My sons friend was targeting schools in that area. His friend attended, but I do not know how much interest he garnered from it. He still ended attending and playing baseball at a D3 in Ohio.
Take a look at the list of schools attending, has any of them seen him before, or has he been in contact with them?

Hi Thanks for getting back to me, My son has been applying left and right to colleges. While he is an awesome player, and played on his high school varsity for 3 years, NO other events have contacted him so I really do not know how he even got this invite. Does someone actually nominate you?
