Yes sir. Actually a dominant pitcher. Here's the issue... he's 5'11" - maybe.
I've been to 20 or so of my son's games so far this year....I think I've only seen 3 guys over 90...and one of them is on our team. Hard to believe, that even at 5'11 that someone hasn't offered him. My son was 88-89 when he committed the summer after his junior year. He was 5'9 or 5'10 and maybe 150 lbs at the time.
There's a good chance the schools that have seen him think there's no way he'll end up at their level. And the schools at his level haven't seen him yet.
I was talking to a coach at a summer game and asked what he thought of our pitcher. He said he looks great, but he's too good for them. I thought the same. The kid was throwing 91, but never got in front of the right schools and when he did they already had their classes set. He's going to a D3 for the academics, I'm sure he'll have no problem walking on there.
