Based on the previous discussion about hitting and number of swings. I thought I'd throw this out there. My son has always been an above average hitter at whatever level he played. He's led his team in hitting 3 years in a row. It's not all natural, he's just been willing to put in the time.

Last year we did alot of hitting off machines in local hitting leagues etc. Once the season started we got a slow start on live pitching. I felt like my sons timing was off on a live pitcher due to his practice on the machines.

This off season we've done nothing but tee work, front toss and live arm BP. We'll see if we start slow again or not.

Just wondering what your thoughts are? The iron mikes are a little better to time, but he hates the jugs with two wheels.
