My son attended the camp, it was the first time they ran the camp, there was about 30 - 35 kids all ages (9 - 12th grade). The boys where split into 2 teams at that point all of the pitchers went with Mike Dunne (Pitching Coach) and the rest where split into 3 groups an rotated between different hitting stations. The 2 teams then each had 2 rounds of batting pratice. We broke for lunch and returned infield / outfield drills, (throws from outfield to 3rd and home, infield to first, double plays and 1st to 3rd)catchers throws to 1st and 2nd all throws where clocked by radar gun. After this was done they played 2 - 6 inning games, evey player had the same number swings, counts started 1 - 1, no walks. Over all it was a good camp.
This camp was well run by Coach Wagner with some help from his Bradley colleagues. Most impressive player there was Neuqua Valley's Rob Elliott. Showcased some very good hands. Another player who put his name on the map was Fieldcrest sophomore Lee Weld. They had him at 84 on the gun from the outfield, 78-82 on his fastball, 72 with his slider and 67-68 with his slider. He's one to watch.

I don't remember anyone with that kind of velocity there, but I dipped out midway through the second game. Also don't remember anyone hitting one off the wall.
None of the local DIs that I know of. They're all holding camps similar to Deweys. Only winter Showcase I know of around Peoria is something being put on by the Bulls/Sox Academy Folks in Pekin later this month and again in January and February. Those seem like moneymakers as well.
