a friend told me about this tourney...

said it was the best High Schhool level teams in the NW at one time. I dropped in yesterday and caught a couple games, it cost $8 to get in but well worth it. Saw the Spokane Dodgers play, I was hoping to see Shellhorn or Kittridge pitch, but they didn't. In fact they got beat by the Seattle Stars, 8-0 and they only managed two hits. The Stars have a catcher that is a beast, crushed a home run to left.
Regardless it was definitely good baseball.

Old Cob, Rusty pitched against Taylor baseball on Friday and he won, 6-1. Although he's the ace of the Dodgers, he had to get a later start because he pitched twice in a tournament recently and needed some rest. The Dodgers are not playing their best ball right now, but there are two main reasons for that.. they have been on the road camping for a long while and they have lost three key players to the draft. No excuses though, it's been a tough road trip. They've still had a tremendous year, though, winning two tournaments and I think they're about 28-13.

If you get this posting in time, Kittredge is scheduled to pitch tommorow.
