While mine was in high school I would always make breakfast (I’m the early bird). Eggs (usually scrambled with cheese), bacon or sausage, biscuits, gravy, milk, and orange juice. He would take a multi-vitamin too. He did well with the breakfast but I had to go on a diet when he left for college. Big Grin

To answer the question, the answer is: very few. Kids today stay up WAY too late at night, which makes them groggy in the morning and in too big a hurry to eat breakfast. As a coach, I try to encourage kids to understand that the fuel is what makes the engine run, but I'm sure many don't listen. A good breakfast is key - even something small will help.
My son doens't get up early enough to eat breakfast, so his breakfast consists of a Protein shake, breakfast bar and 2 multi vitamans.

Yes, we try to get him up earlier but his AP Physics class meets during 0 hour so he has to be at school by 6:45. As Coach Knight says, my son is typically up till midnight doing homework, chatting on line etc. so getting him up earlier is not easy.
