-Are they good for some exposure?(I realize its a camp and not a showcase, but its ran like a showcase according to the site)

Kansas State's camp is organized and run well. You will get a good workout from the coaching staff ( the head coach is very hands on ) and current players.
You will also receive a thorough evaluation that you can take to other schools as a recruiting reference.
As far as other schools being there, the only one we have known to attend was Garden City CC.

Kansas State camps are a good workout and usually filled with talented participants. They also usually have their " store " open after the camp. In the past, my son has bought slightly used bats, still in great condition for $25.

Another good Kansas camp is Wichita State. Be prepared to work. Smile

My son has been to two TCU camps. The first one was in November and had decent numbers and decent instruction. The second camp had WAY too many campers with no instruction at all. In addition, preference was given to just a few recruits, who were given more at bats, more time in the field, more time on the mound, etc.

If you're looking for outstanding instruction and exposure to a D1 and NAIA school, consider Dallas Baptist University's camp. Several people on the Texas forum say it's the best camp for instruction that they've ever encountered. They also mentioned that the coaches put just as much effort into helping non-prospects as they do potential recruits. I think their showcase camp is the first week in August.
