I am an 18 year-old High School Senior Shortstop starting up the Carb Backloading diet next week (want to lose as much body fat but also make muscle gains). I am currently in the Carb depletion stage but had a couple of questions... First, when i start the actual diet, i lift/condition from 1-3 Monday-Friday (For school, but i have my own program) and Cressey says not to eat carbs till early evening at about 5 till you go to bed for the night. Does the same thing apply if i workout in the afternoon? Or do i stack on carbs for a certain period of time after my workout? Also, what about weekends.....do i go carb depletion or just go an average day (i can eat 300-400g of carbs a day easily) . Any info or websites/articles would help tremendously, thanks!
