So far, my son is really liking his MPowered 777POWR Alloy he picked up from their booth at the WWB last fall. It had the look and feel of the Rawlings 5150 that he had been swinging. So far it has been limited to cage work since the season does not start here for another couple of weeks, but he says he like the balance, and feels like the ball comes off the bat nicely.

That said ... If he had his way about it he would play with all wood, all the time; and for that he LOVES his Trinity's.
Wait till next week. if the NCAA truly bans anymore bats we should know. Otherwise all we've been hearing is just rumors... rumors propagated by WHO? Marucci has grabbed so much market share with its -3 Cat5, two big players in the industry have got to be very happy a few 33" Cat5's failed testing & the current 33" Cat5's ended up being banned. Throwing Marucci under the bus, not here.

The best bat I have seen to this point is the Easton S2. I make this suggestion for one reason. My son is 12 years old 5'5 106lbs and uses the Easton S2 32/29 BBCOR. Even with his small size I have seen him hit balls with this bat over 300 ft.

The Easton S2 seems to have a very good moi and great feel compared to other top end BBCOR bats. Even the Easton XL model seems to have good pop. However this bat is a lot more top heavy than the S2.
