Catching Mitt and Equipment ???'s

Hello all,
I'm looking into getting a new mitt and all new equipment.
First of all how are Catcher's Mitts sized? Like 32.5, 33, etc. I have a medium sized hand, so what size mitt would be appropriate for me?

Next, I want the most manuverable, lightest, least restrictive gear I can find. What brand, or type of gear am I looking for then?
