To our military men, women and families - You are all awesome - that flag is yours and I thank you for the opportunity for giving me the honor of removing my cap prior to every baseball game I see.

catcher09,

Were you trying to get into the chat room on this site (mouse over the green menu almost hidden on the left side of this page, and click on the Chat Room link when it slides out)? Or were you trying to get into the chat room on TRHit's site? I think there were two different chats going on tonight, and I would only be able to help you with the chat room on this site.
catcher09,

Of course! Wink

Since you have Oracle and SQL on your computer, you may be more of a secret techie than me, but I'll offer these thoughts anyway:

I suspect that it has something to do with the Security settings in your browser. You may have done all of this already and/or already know these steps, but...

1. Try this first:
If you are using Internet Explorer, at the top of your browser window, click Tools, then Internet Options, then click the Security tab.

In the first row of icons, click Trusted sites, then click Site, and add our web address, http://www.hsbaseballweb.com to your list of Trusted sites (but do not click Require server verification (httpsSmile etc.).

Close your browser, launch it again, sign on to the site, and try the Chat room again. (Though it will be a little lonely now if you do get in!) Smile

If the above doesn't work...

2. Try this next:
Again at the top of your browser winder, click Tools, then Internet Options, then click the Security tab.

Again click Trusted sites, and then in the lower section, slide the security level slider down to the lowest level (Low) to TEMPORARILY use a very unrestrictive setting ONLY on your Trusted sites. I would suggest that you do not have any other browser windows open while you do this. Click OK to accept this new setting, ONLY for your Trusted sites.

Now try to log in to the Chat room again. If you are successful, then you have narrowed the problem down to a Security issue in your browser. If this works, you may want to set the Security slider back to whatever level you were using, perhaps Medium, and then contact me again and I can give you some ideas about how to pinpoint which setting is causing the problem, and how to resolve it.

3.
There is one other trick that could work, separate from #1 and #2 above. It involves downloading a browser update, closing your browser, deleting the Cookie on your hard drive related to our site, and then re-opening your browser. Let me know if you want some details about how to do this.
