I can provide my list to those interested!...lol..Smile

Send me the list Steve...I've got a lucky lottery ticket for tonight, and maybe, just maybe, my numbers will come up...

And enjoy this Christmas Steve, because next year, those twins of yours will get ALL of the attention and presents! I imagine by then, the both of them will already have everything they will ever need for baseball/softball. Wink
I’m with hokieone on this.. When they go off to college they want things that relates to the college baseball way of life. What I mean by that is the MP3 player, the portable DVD player for out of town trips and a SUV (dream on) to haul it around in. They also want the playstation and a variety of games for when all the boys “relax” at the apartment or dorm room. I asked son tonight what he wanted for Christmas and he said a new playstation. Seems as if his playstation is 3 years old and is giving him problems..
While he was in high school it used to be baseballs, bats, gloves, soft toss machine, nets and different training aids but once they get to college they have all those things provided.

fungo...I think my 16 year is advanced for his age because he wants all those same things that your college aged son wants....

Hokie and fungo,

Whats a IPOD and a MP3 ? I need to get out more.

I don't want to ask my 17 year old, I am sure he would know, but I don't want him to know that I don't know Smile

IPOD's and MP3 players are new little techno gadgets that you download music onto...think of it as a cd player without the cd's...the music is stored in the player's memory. At least that's what I think they are...
These are digital music players that you can carry in your shirt pocket. They store up to 10,000 songs. You download the songs from your computer to your Ipod (Apple brand I think) or MP3 player. I think they are basically the same. While they are very small, they sound great.
The top-of-the-line iPod, holding 10,000 songs (40 gigs, as geeks will tell you), now costs $399. The lower-capacity model, with room for 5,000 songs (20 gigs), costs $299.
Sounds like a great Christmas present.
My 08 will get a new set of catchers gear, the same thing he asks for every Christmas. My 05 a Warrior Bat and some batting gloves. I never complain about buying my kids baseball gear. In fact I love to do it. I cant think about how its going to feel one day when they dont want or need it anymore. Kind of like when you go into the store and you look at the gumball machines. I remember them going crazy for one of those big jawbreaker pieces of gum. Sometimes I wish they were back at that age so I could buy them one. It goes by too fast. So I spoil the Hell out of them while I can.
Nancy,
I was just joking about MY list. Unless your lottery ticket pays off...then I will have to come up w/ a whole new list just for you. Wink

"Enjoy this Christmas because next year your twins will get all the attention and presents."

I'm sure that you are right on this one. I can't wait until they are born. This Christmas I feel lucky enough that my wife and I are blessed with having 1 baby, let alone twins. I feel even luckier that we are having a boy AND a girl. So I don't need anything else this year. Just that they will be born healthy. Christmas is my favorite time of the year so next year will be awesome with 2 little 10 month old babies. Is it too early to ask what is a good christmas present for them next year? ..ha ha ha

I know that it is early, but let me send out the FIRST "Christmas Greeting to all the HSBW'ers out there."
