According to Twitter, @conniemackwsbb Lone Star Baseball  coaches flew home immediately after their last game and left several members, including minors, alone to fend for themselves. The players were told they were on their own for food and to get to the airport which is 2 hours away (pt1)

This happened to my middle son several years ago.  He went to play with a put together team at CABA world series in Cleveland, OH.  They did not do as well as expected and the coach left.  My son called in a panic from the hotel.  His flight was not until the next day.  Luckily, he saw a player from our state that was leaving with his dad.  I had him ask if he could ride with them.  They agreed.  He rode in the backseat with his bat bag in his lap for 8 hours and my wife had to drive through the night to pick him up.  I have bashed that guy every time his name comes up on this site and am glad I've never met him in person.  There were four players left with no ride to the airport.  A mom who was spending the night there paid for their motel room and drove them to the airport the next day.  The guy checked them out of their rooms and left them in the lobby.  These guys need to be called out and parents made aware of their past.  The bad part was this guy threw around Alex Rodriquez's name as a  former player and supporter.
