It's hard to believe but opening day is now less than 2 weeks away for the college guys!! Any of the dads who have kids fortunate enough to be playing starting to get fired up yet?
Don't shift the responsibility of your success in this game to somebody else. Be perservering about it. Pay the price and you'll come out where merit takes you. - Branch Rickey

Very psyched but it is gonna be weired not going to every game like we did in high school. Won't miss the weather but will definately miss the games. Last year, I only got to see my oldest kid pitch once. Drove all the way to Salibury, Maryland for the weekend and they got rained out that night. (27 inches of snow there today!)
My bad for forgetting to mention the Moms out there and checking to see if they are fired up. Baseball Mom in our family doesn't necessarily get fired up but she sure does get nervous when our son gets to pitch or play in the field or hit. She does OK when she is actually at the game but she will not listen to the internet "radio' broadcast or watch the internet TV feed or whatever they call the thing you can watch on your computer.
All's forgiven!
think I was the original "baseballmom"...even before the "site crash" in 2002, or dirt, for that matter!!
Hope to see bbson in Houston a couple times & then at Turchin, in May, when he "walks"!!! So proud of his accomplishments...the priviledge of playing for 4 years & his degree! What a blessing!

Good luck to all our boys this season!!

Can't wait! Junior has been getting in a lot of innings and is beginning to feel his oats.. Wife and next-in-line son are heading down for opening tourny and to get in a visit at a nearby..

Have subscribed to A-Sun TV so I can watch the games online. Quality isn't the best but it'll do in a pinch.

Best of luck to all of the college parents for a great baseball season.
We leave for Florida 3/5. My sons team starts play with a doubleheader 3/6 at Dodgertown. I also have been checking the websites of the guys my son played with on the Norwood Blues as well as his high school team mates. In addition, players like Firth, Havey, Kennedy, Nasshan, etc., that he played against. I wish everyone a great, fun filled college career. I will be keeping up with them all. It's great working from home......can take enough breaks to do so!
BBfan58, we'll be in Dodgertown on that Sunday. Hearland starts on Monday with two games. They are ranked second by the NJCAA for D2 JUCO nationally and 22 of all JUCO's by PG crosschecker. They hope they live up to the ranking, and maybe go one spot better.

I don't see any Rochester games listed after Sunday. Are you traveling after playing the weekend at Dodgertown?
BBDad1954- I saw on the Heartland site you guys will be in the area. So, perhaps we'll see each other that day. We play a double header at the stadium on Saturday (9am and "TBD") then on Sunday we have a single game on field 6, again at a time to be decided. Then yes, we have a travel day on Monday and the team goes to the Orlando area to plat a UAA tournament at Sanford Memorial Stadium Tuesday through Saturday. Then on Sunday the 14th there is a practice and then the team flies back to Rochester.
