The College Baseball Gameday is especially helpful as do the D1baseball site for the scores (and allows me to filter by conference which is great). I do have ESPN+ and I have ESPN, SEC, ACC, BIG, MLB, etc in my TV subscription connected to my Roku, AppleTV, iPad, Directv Stream setup box, etc. However, I still can't find some of the more interesting games over the weekend like the following:
- Missouri games
- TCU games
- Texas games
- Fri and Sun TN games
- Arkansas games
- Vanderbilt games
Several other comments/observations/comments
- The College Baseball Gameday stream guide is just the info for that day - meaning it's the same file that they always update. We can't go to a previous day to see if a game was streamed, and where a game was streamed to see if a replay of that game is available?
- D1baseball seems to have the complete list of all the games and results. However, when I click on the recap, it sends me to the website of one of the schools. It doesn't have a link to the recaps from both of the schools. Is there a rhyme and reason to which recap and box score D1baseball links to? I also assume there's no link from D1baseball to the replay of the stream (if any)?
- ESPN college baseball scoreboard does not show all of the games. Do you all know what ESPN uses to determine whether to include a game in their scoreboard or not? Is it only schools from P5 conference and top X schools (I noticed that Liberty vs. Southern Miss is on the scoreboard but not Wofford or GA State)?
- Searching in ESPN for college baseball + college team name brings back softball games also. It was frustrating how many times I click on a game only to realize it's a softball game. I've since learned to look at the duration of the video to determine if it's a baseball or softball game.
- Accessing Watch ESPN via website or iOS app doesn't show me the date of the game but I can see the date from Roku app. Frustrating when it's a weekend series and I was trying to find the game for a specific day.
Sorry for all the questions, this is my first time following college baseball the first weekend (as opposed to during the conf games and conf championship). I was surprised at how hard it is to find the list of games and where it's being streamed. Thanks to the info in this thread, I can cobble the info together now between the D1baseball site, College Baseball Gameday, and slogging through the ESPN app to find the game. I wish there's an easier way but at least I can get to the info now.
