Tom, I will stop by and look forward to meeting you.

When I asked all the players in my summer program about going, one parent replied that he thought attending a Stanford game would be grounds for having his son's Cal scholarship revoked. Wink So, he declined and said he'd wait until they were playing Stanford next year to come down and watch his son play. It was all in good fun, but I was a bit surprised when he signed off with "hook 'em horns".

Bullwinkle, I apologize that I did not notice the Valentine you sent me earlier. Well, maybe not a Valentine, but the post you addressed to me on the 14th. I have to confess I could not read the entire message. I started to read it and saw a horrific, troubling image in my mind's eye, and could not continue. bothered I will try again at some point when I have had sufficient time to recover - or else enough liquid refreshment to handle such a shock again.

I look with envy as you talk about watching the California college games. In March we will drive for 22 hours so that we can watch our boys play. My oldest son is now in his senior year and we will be able to see two of his Div. 1 games. Luckily his younger brother is now half an hour away so we will get to watch two of his JC games too. (then we'll drive 22 hours home) Enjoy your times at the ball field. We will continue to enjoy our time huddled around the computer listening to the games. I'm so appreciative of the internet coverage.

Want to give props to justbaseball's son, as he pitched in relief for 2.2 innings today with 3 SO's with only 1 H. From my somewhat prejudiced viewpoint he looked strong and in control, no doubt helped by the presence of the largest camera lense I have ever seen wielded by a parent Eek Razz. Sorry no beer at the field today justbb -- hopefully that will be recitfied soon bigflower
