First, I'd like to thank ALL the coachs from this site, that worked so hard with my son.(Very very organized.)Second,Im very pleased to have finally met with TR-hit(Tom).He's a very busy person.I must say I don't know how he does it so well. As for the showcase some really great teams played, it was my son's first time playing for college select and says he met with some great teammates from all around the states, and met some cool coach's.and wished it lasted a few days longer.Although he could have done much better, he still says he enjoyed it, and thats what counts.Once again I'd like to Thank College Select (TOM RIZZI) and (ALL) it's STAFF for giving my son the opportunity to showcase.

I would also like to thank Mr. Rizzi for giving my son the opportunity to participate in the Binghamton Showcase. applaude My son Andy, had a very good time, and also did well in his games.

Mr. Rizzi has a very good staff that helped him evaluate the players and keep the games moving along on time. One rain delay couldn't be helped. And a special thanks goes out to Mr. Pincus, who took the time to speak to Andy about his collegiate plans. The seminar was very insightful with three coaches giving a talk about each one of their levels, D1, D2 and D3. They also talked about the NCAA rules, and the Clearinghouse. Academics was highly emphasized!!!!

We had the opportunity to speak to several college coaches in attendance, and based upon a suggestion, made time to visit one of the universities later in the week. He loved the campus, they have his desired major, and he hopes to have a chance of playing baseball there. We visited the other school prior to the showcase.

Mr. Rizzi has the knowledge and the network, to help your son play baseball in college. I would highly recommend the College Select Baseball Showcases as a place for your son to go. Thanks!!

applaude
BoomerIL or anyone really,
Where are the showcase located at? Is there any around the Northwest? I will be traveling the midwest (mostly Nebraska) next summer and I would like recommendations on what kind of camps are good in Omaha or the surrounding area. I haven't been to a real big camp before so it should be a fun experience.
Lafmom & Fungo,

One of the wonderful things about the recruiting process is how many people are willing to throw away that annoying excess cash for you. Apparently they do it as a public service to save people the inconvenience of learning pretty much everything they need for free by spending a few years on this site.

I've never met ole Bubba but he sure has a lot of cousins up here in the Northeast. Unfortunately, TRhit isn't one of them since he insists on actually charging less than most and doing more than he has to. He'll never make it in this business with that attitude.

My son Mike, the kid from California, had a great time at the Binghamton showcase. The facility was great, the coaches were terrific and meeting TRhit - "priceless!

He really enjoyed playing at this showcase. He especially liked everyone's NY accent. I still have mine even though I moved from LI to So Cal 30 years ago. I think he has a made a lifelong friend in John Stavola, who I also thought was a great kid. They have been in touch daily.

This trip really convinced him that he would like to attend school back east.
