Looking for advice on this topic.
My son is a freshman at a D2 down in FL. In the fall, HC offered him summer ball on a team in MD which my son indicated he did not want and said he would like something within driving distance from our home in the North East. They had no further conversations and now he has no where to play this summer. Clearly, it is very late now and he should have been more proactive but he wasn't. He reached out to local programs and some coaches he knows from previous summer ball programs while in HS but everything seems to be full. He is on some waiting lists but that is iffy, at best.
Any ideas on what he should do next? This is his first go around and not really sure how to approach it. Appreciate any help anyone can offer.
