Hey folks,

It is late in the season to find a summer program home for my freshman son. I was under the impression that the coach had him taken care of but I was mistaken.

Is there anything that I can do as a parent to find him a home?

Any help will be appreciated.

He is starting SS hitting in the 4 hole. After 69 at bats he is hitting .391 with 25 RBI's, 3 HR, 4 Doubles, I triple. On base percentage over .500 with a good glove.

Has bat, will travel.

The Journey Continues!

Oh no! Are all your son's teammates in the same boat, or was he the only one left high and dry?

I help out with our local collegiate wooden bat team. This year's roster has been pretty much set for a while. However, the coach is expecting a couple of kids to drop out at the last minute due to injuries, suddenly needing to go to summer school, etc. So I think there's still hope... but historically, most of the last-minute action has been around pitchers.

I hope it all works out.
