Colligiate Wood Bat Summer Program Help

Oh no! Are all your son's teammates in the same boat, or was he the only one left high and dry?

I help out with our local collegiate wooden bat team. This year's roster has been pretty much set for a while. However, the coach is expecting a couple of kids to drop out at the last minute due to injuries, suddenly needing to go to summer school, etc. So I think there's still hope... but historically, most of the last-minute action has been around pitchers.

I hope it all works out.

Not sure about anyone else. I don't think he is alone, but it was one of the issues I brought up with the coach prior to his signing. I was assured that he would work to find him a home. Live and learn...

Most coaches do. Our team brings back new players from the same colleges year after year, based on the relationship our coach has with these teams' coaches. Your son's coach should have these relationships. Has your son had a conversation with him about what happened?

Maybe JUCO is underserved in this area. Son will speak to coach tomorrow. He previously indicated that he had found him a home, but apparently not...

I may have found a home for him, a coach responded tonight.
