AK - I had showed this thread to my son and he got a big hoot out of IB's post about having my genes! Now, I'll have to tell him he's referred to as Lafjr!! Fortunately for both of my kids, they did not inherit my athletic ability or neither would have played sports beyond elementary school!!
I hope you're continuing on the mend kiddo and all ready for a new school year!

njbb - Thanks! I did not get to see this game. I was very fortunate though this summer to be able to get to Nashville and see a lot of innings! Actually saw son pitch against this same team in the playoffs where he wasn't able to hold them hitless again - did hold them runless until in the sixth where they scored two off of him. We won though - 3-2! 
A good reminder that there's ups and downs in this game! Very little remains consistent.
Still hoping to catch Chris! Let me know if things change and he's nearby!

Robert ended up pitching in the Clark Griffith League in Virginia. He ended up 1-1 and enjoyed himself.
