This kid isn't looking for kudos or undeserved props -- but I think this is a cool story about a pitcher that is fun to watch ----- from the Murphy Monitor. Hopefully, the link won't expire at midnight.
Thanks for sharing the article. I enjoyed watching Ryan pitch when we played against him way back in 11 yr old baseball. He was amazing even back then!
I watched him play last year, and he was truly amazing. He had such a fluid motion after a little while you do not even notice there is anything different about him. A really talanted athlete
I have had many opportunities to play against Ryan, and talk to him a few times. He's a really cool kid, and I think his story just goes to show everyone that you can do anything you set your mind to.
Similar situation like this with a player on Naaman Forest's team, last name was Venable. He too was missing alot of his arm, played first base on varsity, though probably not always the starter. It was a couple years ago and I remember Channel 8 doing a story on him during sports special. What an inspiration these boys were and are to their teammates!!! And all of us!
