Yeah It's not overly close, but West is within sight.

SP- Flora
SP- Blum
SP- Johnson
CP- Hubert

Not quite as intimidating, although still pretty darn scary. Remember, Blum and Hubert are 2010's. Sophomores...
You guys are more than just being insight...those kids you have at West are good and will be for awhile. Luckily Martin has Stewart Person one more year (he really should be a sophmore but he started school early)...he's still 16 and will be until June 30th. I hope it all works itself out and Martin can meet up with West in the state finals. Would love to have two area teams representing the metroplex and possibly take back the state titles from the Houston schools.

Speaking of good, how good are the 2010 Marshalls going to be with both of them on the hill?
As a 5th starter behind Griffin, Winters, Hill, Person and Imhoff as the closer, I think he's perfect and definitely helps round out a good pitching staff. He is only a sophmore so alot of his mechanics could get corrected this summer with some good instruction. I'll take a kid who can hit 85mph as a sophmore any day, you can't teach velocity. Plus, he's very productive with his bat...he's hitting .360 5HR 25RBI.
