Hi guys I'm a SS and looking forward to getting a stronger arm for next year...

I know that long toss is essential for a stronger arm but I've heard that different ways of long toss is better than others...

My real question here is,  when doing long toss:
●should you back up until you can no longer throw ON-A-LINE(For me is like 150 Ft)
●Or should I AIR-IT-OUT and throw from as far as I can not caring about throwing on a big arch( For me like  250Ft)

soooo, I know its about a year late, but, here is a good video for long toss. Basically, we want to start by "opening up" our arm by getting it moving as much as possible, but in a relaxed way. So, max out your distance by throwing on a big arc and working your way back until you reach your limit. do not worry about throwing on a line at all. Then do "pull downs" by throwing on a line, and working your way back in to about 60 ft. thats what they do here anyways, and it looks good to me.
