Rice Freshman Dale Lloyd, Lamar HS in Houston,dies after workout.
What a shame. I just can't imagine the shock & grief of loosing a child.
My sincere condolences to his family, teammates & coaches, and friends.

Thank you for starting this thread, I was able to spend this last weekend with my son visting my alma mater. It gave me time to reflect the important things in life. We are all family in baseball and sports, we lost a find gentlemen in Dale.

Nevertheless, he has been called up to the next level for a purpose. Our prayers are with him and his family.
