One of our posters here (TxMom) had her son, Dan Ortmeier, called up to the SF Giants. Congrats to some very deserving and nice people.
Dan is from Lewisville and went to UTA.

Actually Daniel attended Lewisville High School, his father worked there in the Athletic Department. Daniel attended UTA and was drafted after his Junior year.
His brother Chris was a Marcus pitcher and Graduate and played for Navarro (corrected), he is now at Texas Tech.
This Ortmeiers are one of those family's that you just can't help admire and just love,,,,,,,,they have raised 2 of the most genuine/sincere/modest sons that continue to give back to the community whenever they are home.....this family is amazing!

Corrected, I had his roommate/buddy on my mind when I typed this and had a mental fa** I knew it was Navarro, but that other school in East Texas came out of my hands first on the keyboard....
And I always think of him as a MHS grad too because he spent soooo much time up here during the offseason working out.. What a great guy he is as is his brother.

I do not personally know TxMom, but I can tell from her posts that she is someone to be truly admired! Great news for her son, Dan!!!
