Players and Parents as a reminder the DBAT Fall Combine will be held this weekend, Sunday November 5, 2006 at Greenhill Academy. You son will get the opportunity to showcase his skills
in both a try-out and game setting. Please don't miss this opportunity to get your son looked at by college and professional scouts. For details, please see the attached flyer. Look forward to seeing you this weekend. This combine is limited to 2007 - 2009 graduates.

UPATE: Below is an email from DBAT listing some of the colleges and number of pro scouts who are interested in attending this combine.

Ranger, North Central, Frank Phillips, Weatherford, Galveston, Brookhaven, Eastfield, Northlake, DBU, Grayson, Cedar Valley, OU, Northwood, UTA, UTD, UT Tyler, Texas Wesleyan Hill JC, and 3 Pro Scouts.

I know of one young man that was signed to the college he is currently playing on based on his attendance at this event last year. I'm sure there are many more, but his expense brought him a full ride to a great JUCO program where he is expected to start this spring and probably transfer to a major D1 next summer.

So, was it worth it for this young man and his family???
