DECISION on FM TRANSFER IS IN

This was the correct decision. Anyone remotely close to this situation knows that this was for athletic reasons only. He was not getting time on the FM baseball team his parents thought he deserved and moved him to a rival team within the same district. Bad advice.
The lesson here is to work harder and earn your time.

All I know (and this is not to judge him in anyway) is that if I was a soph. on varsity at Flo-Mo, I'd be pretty dang happy. The kid will overcome this. I don't really want to say if I agree or not... I don't know which it is... but I do know, for the kids sake I hope this inspires him to work harder and eventually leads him to greater things.

It is not the end of his career. He could go to TCA or PCA both with good programs.

Edited: My post was not meant to be pointed at the principals involved in the transfer but pointed at the nature of HS baseball in Texas.......A little humor to divert was the intent........last time I will rush a post before lunch..

Just appears a little classless and I have come to expect a little more compassion from the pillars of the community.

Then you get comments like the one we are referring to. Which to anyone that reads this board understands the overtones that are indicated.

JAFO - I am not one of the friends...don't even know OBN but I disagree with your comment... sometimes humor inserted at the appropriate time can help diffuse a situation where there are heated opinions. I think you stated it best when you referred to her as a pillar of the community.

Agree or disagree makes no difference to me. You know about those opinions.......everyone's got one, and I respect them all.

As for defusing a situation.....well I disagree with your comment as well. But, again that's just fine with me.

My comment was for disagreement of diffusing the situation. And you are right about not watching closely.

The last Reality Show......."appears" to be over the line and a little beneath the "Pillars" as indicated by the comment "not even going there on that one".

It just doesn't sound like it has much class or use in the list. But as everyone that has commented sees otherwise. And it's really ok, makes me no difference at all. "Just another foolish observer" = JAFO.......what do I know!

JAFO - I didn't make the connection with your concern until you explained further....I now understand you point but I don't know if the comment was intended the way you are reading it.
