Delmonico announced this morning that former Tennessee high school players, Michael Fisher (GA. Tech), Cale Iorg (Ala), John Lalor (Miss St), Cody Overbeck (Miss) and Harrison Eldridge (ECU) will transfer to the University of Tennessee. He also stated he would be open to other players that contact him.

In a related development, Kyle Waldrop (Minnesota Twins)won an appeal of his amateur status after it was determined that he was coerced into signing a contract with the Twins. His amateur status has been reinstated and the NCAA has ruled that he will be eligible to participate in college next spring. The appeals board determined that, as punitive damages, he may retain the signing bonus. Since Waldrop did not enroll at Vanderbilt last fall, his NLI is void. He has indicated that he will enroll at the University of Tennessee in August.
